The Pineapple in my logo means “welcome.” Historians say sea captains in Newport, RI would put a pineapple on their doorstep when they were home, and it meant welcome to friends and family. I have spent a lot of time in Newport with my family and it is a place where we have laughed and shared so many special memories.
